Transport refrigeration mechanic

*Position Overview:* As a Transport Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration units for our fleet and customers refrigerated trailers and trucks. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on refrigeration units for trailers and trucks. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. * Complete work orders accurately and on time. * Conduct on-site service calls and provide emergency repairs as needed. * Candidates must be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency and after-hours service requests. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. *Qualifications:* * Technical training in refrigeration or HVAC preferred. * Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of reefer units or refrigeration systems. * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Must have a valid driver?s license and be able to travel to various job sites as required. *Why Join Us?* * Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. * Comprehensive benefit package that includes health, dental, vision and life insurance. * A supportive, team-oriented work environment. * Work-life balance. * RRSP 3% match program. * Tool and boot allowance.
