Trailer mechanic

Licensed Trailer Technicians are needed to join a growing fleet maintenance team in Moncton. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team to help diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of trailers and equipment. Technicians will service a range of trailer types: Dry vans, Flatbeds, Heaters, Reefer units, etc. Compensation & Benefits: • $25.00 - $30.00/hour based on experience • Afternoon Shift Premium • Signing Bonus Available • Company-Issued Fully Equipped Mobile Service Truck • Paid Vacation and Personal Days • Employer-Paid Benefits Package • Healthcare Spending Account • Pension Plan with Employer Contributions and Profit Sharing • Boot and Tool Allowances • Company-Provided Workwear and PPE • Ongoing Training, Certifications, and Career Development Opportunities Shift/Schedule: • Afternoon Shift; 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm • Monday to Friday with flexible start times • Overtime available Preferred Requirements: • Hold a valid 310J or 310T Technician License, with previous trailer repair experience and strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities. • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers and related equipment at customer locations. • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, braking, suspension, and structural systems, including component replacement as required. • Complete welding, fabrication, and body repair work while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship. • Possess a valid driver's license, the ability to work independently in a mobile service environment, and safely lift up to 85 lbs.
