As an apprentice you will support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience while working toward certification or licensing in gas fitting and HVAC trades. Responsibilities: * Assist with the installation, testing, and servicing of gas appliances, piping and ductwork systems, heating, cooling, and ventilation units. * Support licensed gas fitters and HVAC technicians on job sites by handling tools, materials, and equipment. * Perform basic tasks such as cutting, measuring, and fitting pipes and ductwork under supervision. * Help inspect and test systems for leaks, proper operation, and code compliance. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols and procedures. * Record work performed and assist in preparing reports or documentation as needed. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
