Temporary Bakery Clerk - Food Store (16275)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Temporary Full-time Bakery Clerk (40 hours/week) from October 7, 2026, to April 7, 2027, at our Food Store location in Emma Lake, Saskatchewan. What You Will Do: - Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach. - Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. - Prepare, package, and label bakery products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records. - Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards. - Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO). - Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department. - Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are: - Experience in a retail bakery setting is considered an asset. - Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. - Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting of heavy lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling. - Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices. - Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
