*Program Coordinator* *Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo in Fort McMurray, AB* *2 Full-Time Positions | 37.5 Hours/Week | $26.00?$33.00/Hour* *Two Positions. One Mission.* As a Program Coordinator, no two days will look quite the same. You may be welcoming a young person and their family into the program, preparing a volunteer to become a mentor, facilitating a group in a school, supporting an existing match, connecting with a community partner, or helping coordinate an event. Along the way, you?ll have the chance to see the impact of those connections firsthand; whether that means a young person growing in confidence, feeling more supported, or beginning to recognize their own potential. That is what this role is about. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo is currently hiring two Program Coordinators to help deliver meaningful mentoring programs for children and youth across our community. We?re looking for people who are organized, thoughtful, comfortable connecting with others, and genuinely motivated by building relationships that matter. *What This Role Looks Like* The Program Coordinator supports children, youth, families and volunteers throughout the mentoring experience. You?ll be involved from the beginning; helping with intake, assessment and training while supporting participants as mentoring relationships develop. You?ll also work closely with schools, community organizations and other partners to help ensure programs are accessible, well coordinated and responsive to the people we serve. This role brings together relationship-building, facilitation, case management, administration and community engagement. You?ll have the opportunity to: * Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate mentoring programs, activities and events * Complete participant and volunteer intakes and assessments * Facilitate pre-match training and other program-related learning * Support children, youth, families and volunteers throughout mentoring relationships * Conduct match monitoring and support mentoring relationships through closure * Maintain accurate and timely case notes and program documentation * Maintain participant information within Dynamics CRM * Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community agencies and partners * Facilitate programming and presentations for children, youth, adults and volunteers * Support BBBSWB events, fundraising initiatives and community activities * Provide program updates and reporting to the Executive Director * Help identify opportunities to strengthen programs and improve the participant experience *What We?re Looking For* * You?re able to adapt while still being professional, approachable and consistent. * Plan, coordinate, facilitate and evaluate mentoring programs, activities and events * Someone who can connect with many different kinds of people and make those interactions feel genuine You?re someone who: * Builds trust while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries * Communicates clearly and respectfully * Is comfortable facilitating groups and having one-on-one conversations * Can handle sensitive or challenging situations with maturity and sound judgment * Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities * Follows through and pays attention to the details * Can work independently while still being a strong member of a team * Enjoys building relationships within the community * Wants their work to have a meaningful and visible impact *Education & Experience* Because this role works directly with children, youth and families, there are specific education and experience requirements connected to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Child Safety Standards. Candidates must have: * A minimum two-year post-secondary diploma in education, human services, social services, psychology, family sciences or another related field * A minimum of two years of experience working with children and youth ages 6?18 and/or their families * Experience working within edu
