Job description

*Builder. Closer. Leader.* STRONG Pilates Coal Harbour is looking for a Studio Manager to lead one of Vancouver?s most exciting boutique fitness studios. We are the first STRONG Pilates studio in Vancouver, bringing together Strength Pilates and Cardio in a high-energy, 45-minute workout. STRONG is one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness concepts in the world, and we are building something special right here in Coal Harbour. This is not a ?keep the lights on? management role. We are looking for someone who wants to own the business, drive sales, build an exceptional team and create a member experience people can?t stop talking about. *What You?ll Own* *Sales & Business Growth* * Own monthly membership sales, revenue and net membership growth. * Convert leads and trials into members. * Build a consistent sales pipeline through referrals, partnerships, corporate relationships, events and community outreach. * Know your numbers: leads, conversion, retention, attendance, revenue and member growth. * Identify opportunities and take action without waiting to be told what to do. * Help make STRONG a recognized part of the Coal Harbour community. *Member Experience* * Own the member journey from the first hello through long-term membership. * Make every visit feel personal, energetic and exceptional. * Build genuine relationships with members and understand their goals. * Turn great experiences into referrals, reviews and long-term loyalty. * Handle member concerns quickly, professionally and personally. *Team Leadership* * Recruit, onboard, coach and develop front desk team members. * Set clear expectations around sales, service, energy and professionalism. * Lead from the front, especially during busy periods. * Coach the team to improve performance and conversion. * Build a team that wants to perform, grow and stay. *Studio Operations* * Own the day-to-day operation of the studio. * Manage staffing, scheduling, class timetables and studio standards. * Ensure the studio is clean, organized, fully stocked and operating at a consistently high standard. * Stay on top of equipment, supplies, systems and operational issues. * Spot problems early and solve them before they become bigger problems. * Support promotions, events and new initiatives. *Performance & Accountability* * Track and understand the numbers that matter. * Provide clear weekly reporting on sales, membership, attendance and performance. * Identify trends, opportunities and areas that need attention. * Bring solutions and recommendations, not just data. * Take ownership of results. *You are someone who:* * Has experience leading a customer-facing business in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail or a similar environment. * Has a proven track record of achieving commercial results. * Actually enjoys sales. * Knows how to turn a lead into a conversation, a trial into a member and a member into an advocate. * Is comfortable asking for the sale and closing business. * Knows how to generate business rather than waiting for it to arrive. * Builds relationships and knows how to turn local community connections into customers. * Can coach a team while also rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done. * Is comfortable looking at a conversion report and figuring out what needs to change. * Sees a problem and thinks, ?How do we fix it?? * Is highly organized, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. * Brings energy, confidence and genuine care for people. Fitness, Pilates or wellness experience is an asset, but commercial leadership, sales ability and people skills matter most. This Is You If... You walk into the studio and immediately see what could be better. You see an empty class and think: *?How do we fill it??* You meet a first-time guest and think: *?How do we make sure they come back??* You see potential in a team member and think: *?How do I make them great??* Something isn?t working and your instinct is: *
