*Overview* Matec Consultants is looking for a P.Eng. structural engineer to design and document steel structures and lifting equipment. The role turns project needs into clear, buildable drawings and calculations, and supports our inspection and engineering team in Surrey, BC. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and check structural calculations for steel structures, lifting devices, spreader beams, A-frame cranes, and temporary works. * Produce and coordinate drawings in CAD, and check them for accuracy. * Take ownership of drafting and documents from concept through to sealed deliverables. * Communicate with clients, contractors and inspectors, and keep project tasks on track. *Experience* Required: P.Eng. registered with EGBC, or able to transfer now.
