Sterile processing technician

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Lay out surgical instruments. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain inventory of equipment. Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Organize and maintain inventory. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS Windows. MS Word. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Walking. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day. Weekend. Overtime required.
