We are currently recruiting for a Speech-language Pathologist who can support to diagnose, assess and treat human communication disorders including speech, fluency, language, voice and swallowing disorders, in the Community.* LOCATION: Durham region, Peterborough and surrounding areas *We Offer: * * *Salary-$165,000-$218,000* * *Part-time and Full-time Opportunities* * *Signing Bonus $3000* * Ongoing Support *Qualifications:* * *Completion of a Master's degree from a Speech Language Pathology program* * *Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario* * *Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist* * *Experience working in a community setting an asset* * *Valid Ontario driver's license and a reliable vehicle* * *Proficient in conducting assessments, interpreting assessment results, and formulating evidence-based treatment plans* * *Experience using a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques commonly used in speech-language pathology* *Responsibilities:* * Administer tests, examinations and observe patients to diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, fluency, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders * Develop, plan and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, fluency, resonance, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders * Establish group and personalized care plans working as a member of an interdisciplinary team * Educate and counsel patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders *This post is for an existing vacancy.* *Any suspicious fraudulent job posts may be reported to our HR Department.* *Our Organization is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in its workforce.
