Position #: V44200 Expected Start Date: November 16, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Child & Youth Services City/Town: Regina Department: Mental Health Community Clinics&Programs Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: August 31, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 112 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily child and youth mental health and addiction population. The incumbent provides supervision to students in formal clinical practicums. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- 1 year recognized postgraduate experience in community MHASEducation- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)Competencies- Verbal communication skills- Written Communication SkillsKnowledge and Abilities- Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values and traditions- Ability to document in a concise and timely manner- Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups- Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems- Broad knowledge of mental health community resources.- Ability to design, initiate and conduct in service training for others.- Can function independently & as member of interdisciplinary mental health team- Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation- Knowledge in normal child and adolescent developm...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
