Site Foreman/Woman Saskatchewan Mining and Minerals Inc. is seeking a Site Foreman/Woman to coordinate daily maintenance work and support safe, efficient operations at our Chaplin facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Site Foreman supervises maintenance employees and works closely with the Production Manager. The position also coordinates employee scheduling and payroll time reporting for both production and maintenance. Key Responsibilities - Assign and supervise daily maintenance work, including preventive maintenance, repairs and shutdown activities. - Coordinate personnel, tools, parts and contractors to complete assigned work. - Prepare and maintain production and maintenance staff schedules, including shift coverage, vacation coverage and approved overtime. - Review and submit accurate employee time records for payroll. - Maintain work orders, inspection records and maintenance documentation. - Assist with maintenance projects and coordinate assigned railcar loading activities. - Support employee orientation, training and day-to-day coaching. - Reinforce safe work practices and assist with brining, harvest and environmental activities as assigned. Qualifications - Experience in industrial maintenance, plant operations or a comparable environment. - Previous supervisory, lead-hand or foreman experience. - A relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience is an asset. - Working knowledge of equipment maintenance and industrial safety practices. - Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to prepare schedules, review time records and maintain documentation using electronic systems and spreadsheets. - Ability to work effectively with production, maintenance and administrative personnel.
