Senior Surveyor, Yukon Region

Consulting with officials of clients such as Government of the Yukon, Aboriginal Affairs, Parks Canada, and First Nations to determine their survey, needs, to explain products and services available from or through the Surveyor General Branch.Investigating and research (in the field and in the office) survey projects requested by clients to determine the necessity, nature and amount of work involved and, preparing proposals for cadastral related projects, including schedules, deliverables, costs, and methods of completion.Preparing Requests for Proposals (RFP's) detailing technical specifications, developing assessment criteria and assessing bids, and making a recommendation in the case of multiple bidders.Conducting monitoring of progress on projects, including on-site inspections, providing reports to clients, mediating agreement on modifications to the terms of the project, reviewing contract returns for compliance with contract specifications, and recommending payments.
