Scaffolder

L&A Scaffolding Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffolder to join our growing team. We are committed to safety and quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and modifying scaffolding structures on various project sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public. *Wage: *$24.50 - $46.50/hour (based on experience) *Responsibilities:* * Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures according to blueprints, regulations, and company safety procedures. * Inspect scaffolding components for damage or defects before and during use. * Ensure the stability and load-bearing capacity of scaffolding structures. * Secure scaffolding to buildings or other structures using appropriate ties and anchors. * Install and maintain safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets. * Work at heights and in various weather conditions. * Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Collaborate with other tradespeople and site supervisors. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately. * Keep accurate records of scaffolding inspections and modifications. * Load and unload scaffolding materials. * Transport scaffolding materials to and from work sites (if required). * Perform other related duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * Proven experience as a Scaffolder. * Valid certificates for Working At Heights, Fall Protection, Scaffold Safety, Journeyperson Scaffolder * Strong understanding of scaffolding regulations and safety procedures. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Physical ability to perform the demanding tasks of the job, including lifting, carrying, and working at heights. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. * Reliable and punctual. * Valid driver's license (required) Pay: $24.50-$46.50 per hour Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Application question(s): * Are you located in Winnipeg or surrounding areas?
