It is an easy transition if you are willing to learn Immediate hire for Tower Climber (Telcom Technician / Tower Hand) We are willing to Train the right candidate *Responsibilities* * Must be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the team and the company. * Participate in ongoing training and certifications for telecom related work. * Compliance with JSA forms, assisting with overall crew work and heavy equipment and fleet vehicle maintenance. * Microwave system installations, including path alignments. * Install coax, fiberoptic cable, DC cable, connectors, and tower supports. * Installation of tower top equipment and site sectorization, including rigging, hoisting, fastening, etc.. * Tower foundation and structure installation, including monopoles, self supports, and guy towers. * Installation of tower bracing, masts, cable supports, RRU's, antennas, and other tower top equipment. * Must be willing to travel throughout Alberta. * Ability to safely climb heights in excess of 500 feet. *Experience* * Hands-on experience with hand tools (hammers, wrenches), power tools (drills, saws) * Climbing experience preferred * *Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards for working at heights * * Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, climbing ladders regularly. * Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus * Additional skills like construction experience are advantageous but not mandatory.Join us in building safer workplaces while advancing your career in a fast-paced construction environment!
