Sales, Customer Service - - Join the team at AC Marriott Montreal Downtown, a modern and dynamic hotel located in the heart of the Entertainment District, just steps away from Place des Arts, Sainte-Catherine Street shops, and Old Montreal.We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individual who enjoys building lasting relationships with corporate and international clients and who wants to contribute to the commercial success of a renowned hotel.Our Offer- Competitive salary.- Group insurance.- Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).- Paid personal days.- Structured orientation program.- Participation in the development of new brands.- 50% discount at RIMAP hotel restaurants.- Marriott travel benefits.Role- Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Manager is primarily responsible for in-person and telephone prospecting, market and target client analysis, preparation of proposals and contracts, development of sales reports, and achieving or exceeding the hotel?s sales objectives.ResponsibilitiesSales Development- Identify, solicit, and contract new accounts within targeted market segments, particularly corporate and group markets.- Position and promote the hotel and its services to the target clientele.- Conduct sales calls and site inspections to establish and maintain long-term business relationships.- Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with target clients.- Propose specific marketing actions to support market segments and grow existing accounts in order to meet or exceed sales objectives.- Analyze supply, demand, and competition to develop sales strategies tailored to different markets.Representation and Follow-Up- Participate in trade shows, external client activities, and travel for prospecting as needed.- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process and after contract signing.- Comply with hotel and RIMAP Hospitality standards.- Participate in the ?Manager on Duty? program.Education and Experience- College diploma in hotel management or another related professional field.- Minimum of three years of experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel industry.Skills and Qualifications- French and English spoken and written. English is required due to our international clientele.
