Sales administrator

We are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our flooring team in Etobicoke. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, and sales support with a strong administrative background. The Floor Shop is a family-owned business with three locations and over three decades of expertise in the flooring industry. We strive to develop and maintain strong relationships withhomeowners, the design community and suppliers, and continue to evolve while staying true to our core values of quality, integrity and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: * Demonstrates strong listening skills to understand and effectively address customers?project needs and requirements * *Provide comprehensive product expertise by educating clients on products and applications* * Communicate with customers in-store, by phone and by email * *Provide quotes, orders and follow-ups* * Process sales orders and product availability * *Coordinate with suppliers, installers and delivery teams* * Maintain accurate customer sales records, and supplier purchase orders * *Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks* * Build strong customer and supplier relationships * *Maintain the aesthetics of the showroom by organizing samples and ensuring displays are up-to-date and accurately labelled* Requirements * Strong customer service and communication skills (fluent in English) * *Sales-oriented and confident dealing with customers* * Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask * *Previous sales and administrative experience preferred* * Flooring, home improvement, renovation, or construction experience is an asset * *Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAGE or similar accounting system is preferred* What we offer: This is a full-time position and requires working every second Saturday.
