Our hotel is an ideal destination for leisure, business stays, and hosting memorable events like weddings and conferences. *Job Overview* We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the restaurant operations by supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining food safety standards. Your leadership will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy outstanding dining experiences. *Duties* * Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality and presentation * Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen team members, fostering teamwork and professional growth * Oversee food preparation and food handling procedures to meet safety regulations and quality expectations * Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training initiatives * Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS systems), and billing accuracy * Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices across all areas of the restaurant * Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee excellent customer service experiences *Qualifications* * Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with strong team management skills * Extensive food industry knowledge, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; bartending or barista experience is a plus * Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures * Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and train staff effectively * Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage restaurant operations efficiently Join our vibrant team where your leadership will make a difference!
