This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Edmonton Zone Virtual Home Hospital (EVHH) team using innovative health care for complex problem solving. EVHH uses the ever-evolving power of technology to enable patients to leave or avoid the hospital and receive quality care in the comforts of their own home. Currently, EVHH has 60 Medicine Beds and 30 Surgical Beds (20 paused); the team focuses on virtual adult acute med/surg inpatient care. To provide quality care the team of multidisciplinary professionals monitor patients virtually in collaboration with primary care providers, specialists, the Mobile Integrated Health team, and homecare while involving patients and caregivers in shared decision making as members of the care team.
