Registered nurse

The OR Nurse position is responsible for providing perioperative patient care using the nursing process, in accordance with CRNA, Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) and CSA standards of practice. The Perioperative Nurse will demonstrate competence in delivering safe, effective and efficient care in both a scrub and a circulating role as an integral part of their surgical team. The nurse is responsible for providing safe care throughout the patient stay in the surgical suite.
