Registered massage therapist (RMT)

Registered Massage Therapist General Description of Duties: * Conduct client assessments to determine the most appropriate courses of treatment * Complete services as booked by client to the standards and specifications of Bliss YogaSpa (aka Bliss MediSpa & Integrated Wellness) * Explain procedures, risks and treatment benefits to clients * Administer appropriate massage techniques * Offered treatments in facility include customized full body, pre natal, hotstone, couples treatments, cupping, scalp massage ( varied modalities an asset) * Must follow uniform and PPE protocols * Must complete required intake and post treatment documentation * Suggest appropriate home care and provide information about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises * Obtain, maintain, and securely store treatment records Position Requirements: - Must provide proof of completion of an accredited massage therapy training program - Must provide proof of membership in a RMT insurable organization (ie NHPC, CMMOTA) - Must provide proof of valid City of Edmonton practitioner license Job Types: Contract, Permanent Pay: $50.75-$73.50 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount * Wellness program Work Location: In person
