*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver expert rehabilitation and movement therapy to patients across diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients? lives while advancing your professional skills. *Duties* * Assess patients? physical conditions using comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored rehabilitation programs * Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain * Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to coordinate care * Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) documenting assessments, treatments, and progress notes * Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care strategies, and home exercise programs * Administer medications when required under medical directives and ensure compliance with safety protocols * Manage case documentation efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on customer service, empathy, and clear communication * Support hospital operations by adhering to organizational policies, time management standards, and safety regulations *Experience* * Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with the appropriate provincial or national regulatory body * Proven experience working in hospital or acute care environments demonstrating familiarity with medical terminology and procedures * Prior experience in pediatrics or specialized populations is highly desirable * Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred to serve diverse patient communities effectively * Strong computer skills including proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients alike * Experience in medication administration within a clinical setting is an asset * Knowledge of analysis skills for assessing treatment effectiveness and adjusting interventions accordingly Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
