Registered kinesiologist

Job Description Oakville Physiotherapy Centre is seeking a highly energetic, outgoing and sociable part-time Kinesiologist Wednesday and Friday to facilitate exercise program with seniors and build their own caseload with sports injury clients too. These focus on increasing mobility, pain relief, building strength and improving balance. In addition, this position requires: * Caring, patient and personable disposition * Tactfulness and sensitivity to situations while respecting patient confidentiality at all times * Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work effectively in a team environment * Required Competencies: knowledge of prescribing and modifying exercises, cupping, modalities, taping and computer skills. * Successful applicants will possess a Vulnerable Persons Screen, or agree to acquire one within 30 days of employment * Prior experience leading group exercise and injury prevention is an asset * Prior experience in a Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation setting is an asset * *No phone calls please* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Work Location: In person
