*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to enhance patients? mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive care, patient education, and collaborative case management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse patient populations while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients? physical conditions, medical histories, and functional abilities using current clinical practices. * Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and medical recommendations. * Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and pain management. * Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) to document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. * Educate patients on injury prevention, proper movement techniques, and home exercise programs to promote long-term health. * Manage caseloads efficiently by prioritizing patient needs and scheduling appointments using organizational tools like Microsoft Outlook and calendar systems. *Requirements* * Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with the appropriate licensing body. * Proven experience in hospital settings or acute care environments is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems. * Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is an asset. * Demonstrated computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and specialized healthcare software. * Experience working with pediatric populations and knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation techniques preferred. * Ability to handle medication administration procedures following safety protocols. * Exceptional time management skills with the ability to organize multiple priorities effectively. * Strong analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly. * Customer service orientation with a compassionate approach to patient care.
