Registered dental hygienist

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a commitment to ongoing professional development. *Responsibilities* * Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent * Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy * Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment * Support the dental team in administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and billing when necessary *Skills* * Proficiency in Abeldent or similar dental practice management software * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations * Experience with dental assisting techniques is a plus * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person
