Railar Mechanic

Great Western Railway Ltd. is seeking a qualified Carman (Railcar Mechanic ) with a proven commitment to Safety. This is a full time position. As a member of our mechanical team, the carman will be responsible for: Performing inspections and repairs on rail cars Adhere to deadlines and ensure all repairs meet AAR and/or Transport Canada regulations Administrative tasks, such as accurate time keeping, repair schedule and job completion records Involvement in the procurement of parts, equipment, and tools Work with hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
