Purchaser

We are a long-established distributor and manufacturer of industrial fasteners. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Purchaser to manage the purchasing of fasteners, threaded rod, round bar and related industrial products. This role is responsible for keeping inventory available for customer orders and in-house manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Review inventory levels and replenish stock as required. * Source and purchase materials from suppliers in Canada, the United States and overseas. * Request and compare supplier quotes based on price, lead time and overall cost. * Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms with suppliers. * Review supplier order confirmations for accuracy. * Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and incoming materials. * Resolve receiving discrepancies or supplier issues. * Coordinate with...
