Public Works Labourer

The Town of Alameda is accepting applications for a Part-Time Public Works Employee to join our team. The successful applicant will report to the Public Works Foreman and assist with the maintenance and operation of municipal equipment, infrastructure, roads, public spaces, and water and wastewater systems. Duties and Responsibilities: Road maintenance, patching, and snow removal. Mowing, grass cutting, and general grounds maintenance. Operating and maintaining municipal equipment, including tractors and graders. Minor equipment servicing and repairs. Culvert and sign installation and maintenance. Assisting with water and sewer line repairs, maintenance, and water testing. General maintenance of municipal buildings and properties. Other duties as assigned by the Public Works Foreman.
