Prosecution clerk

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Referrals Clerk to join our busy Family Medicine Clinic. This role is essential to ensuring referrals are accurately tracked, completed, and followed through in a timely manner. *Key Responsibilities* * Track and manage all outgoing referrals to specialist offices * Redirect referrals as required * Liaise with specialist offices regarding referral status, appointments, and missing information * Send medical records and supporting documentation as required * Notify patients of referral appointments and provide clear instructions * Track down missing or incomplete information on behalf of physicians * Maintain accurate referral documentation within the EMR * Ensure referrals are followed up on and not delayed or lost * Assist with booking appointments and patient inquiries *Qualifications & Skills* * Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail * Pleasant, professional phone manner * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple referrals and competing priorities * Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills * Experience in a medical office or referral role is an asset * EMR experience and medical terminology knowledge preferred *What We?re Looking For* * Reliable,friendly, accountable, and proactive * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Calm, professional, and patient-focused We take pride in fostering a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment, reinforced through regular staff events and team-building initiatives.
