Project Manager

- Relevant project management training or certification (PMP designation or equivalent is considered a strong asset). - Journeyperson Electrician Certificate, Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma, Engineering Degree, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. - Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial electrical construction, utilities, substations, power generation, or related industries. - Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience leading medium to large-scale projects. - Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, risk management, and project controls. - Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client relationships. - Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, substations, power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. - Ability to read and interpret contracts, electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. - Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling platforms. - Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to drive project profitability and client satisfaction. - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to mentor and develop project team members while fostering a collaborative team environment. - Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract required. - Ability to travel to project sites as required.
