Production clerk

Because our customers are at the heart of our universe, at Canfab, we don't sell, we listen, we learn, and we provide our customers with the best solutions for their packaging needs. *Our company is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a candidate to fill a full-time position on our day, evening, and night production teams.* *Job Summary - Production Clerk* The production clerk is a general production worker who plays a key role on our production lines. The production clerk works as part of a team and performs various interdependent tasks in rotation with the aim of manufacturing, finishing, and packaging our products in accordance with our quality standards. *General Responsibilities* * Operate certain machines; * Sort and package our finished products; * Supply the production lines with raw materials; * Maintain clean and uncluttered production areas. *Basic requirements:* * Lift up to 20 kilograms / 45 pounds; * Be physically fit; * Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet trucks, jiggers and other equipment to move materials around; * Production or warehouse experience an asset but not a requirement; *benefits:* * Starting salary of $18.00 * Insurance day one ; * Day off on your birthday; * RRSP with employer contribution after 3 months of service; * One pair of safety boots per year; * Uniform provided. *Working hour:* * schedule may vary (day, evening, night) * We are looking for candidates who are flexible with their schedules!
