Job description

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Clean. Work setting: Factory or plant. Inspection. Assembly. Tasks: Assemble circuit breakers, switches or other electrical control equipment and position and fasten components into assembly casings. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Maintain test result reports. Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools. Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements. Type of product: Electronic components. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Testing. Soldering equipment. Hand tools. Automatic testing equipment. Area of work experience: Subassemblies. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
