Pharmacy assistant

*Pharmacy Assistant* We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and supporting daily pharmacy operations. *Qualifications* * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician. * Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software is preferred. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. *Responsibilities* * Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone. * Greet patients and verify demographic, insurance, and prescription information. * Enter prescription and patient information accurately into Kroll. * Assist with prescription filling under the pharmacist's supervision. * Prepare and maintain compliance packs (blister packs) for community patients and other care facilities ensuring accuracy and timely completion. * Scan and maintain pharmacy records and documentation. * Coordinate prescription deliveries and communicate with patients as needed. * Receive, unpack, and organize medication and supply orders. * Assist with ordering inventory and maintaining appropriate stock levels. * Monitor medication expiry dates and remove expired products according to pharmacy procedures. * Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy. * Assist with general housekeeping to ensure a safe and professional work environment. * Perform other duties as assigned to support the pharmacy team.
