*Pharmacy Assistant - Community & Compounding Pharmacy* *Location:* Canmore, AB *Position Type:* Full-Time *About the Role* We are seeking an experienced and motivated *Pharmacy Assistant* to join our independent community pharmacy team. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on a lead position within our compounding operations, while also supporting dispensing workflow, inventory management, and delivering exceptional patient care. If you thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and take pride in precision and quality, this role is for you. *Key Responsibilities* *Compounding Leadership* * Lead and support daily non-sterile compounding operations * Prepare compounded prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail * Maintain compounding records, logs, and quality assurance processes * Support inventory and sourcing of compounding ingredients and supplies * Ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices *Dispensing & Workflow Support* * Assist with prescription intake, data entry, and preparation * Support pharmacists and technicians in dispensing processes * Maintain organization and efficiency of workflow *Inventory Management* * Monitor stock levels and place orders * Manage expiry tracking and stock rotation * Maintain accurate inventory records *Customer Care* * Provide warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to patients * Assist with front store and pharmacy inquiries * Support a welcoming and patient-centered environment *Qualifications & Experience* * Minimum *5 years of pharmacy experience* (community pharmacy preferred) * Completion of a *Pharmacy Assistant Diploma* (or equivalent education and training) * Completion of a *Non-Sterile Compounding Certificate Program* * Demonstrated experience or strong competency in non-sterile compounding * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team *What We Offer* * A supportive, team-oriented workplace culture * Opportunity to take ownership of and grow within compounding services * Meaningful work making a direct impact in your community *About Us* We are an independent community pharmacy committed to enhancing the lives of our patients, team members, and community.
