We are committed to providing personalized, professional, and compassionate care to every patient. We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and being an active part of a community pharmacy. Role & Responsibilities ? Accurately review, process, and dispense prescriptions while ensuring patient safety. ? Provide comprehensive medication counselling and answer patients? medication-related questions. ? Conduct medication reviews and help optimize medication therapy. ? Assess and prescribe for eligible minor ailments within the pharmacist?s scope of practice. ? Administer vaccines and injections in accordance with Ontario regulations and appropriate training. ? Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes. ? Monitor medication effectiveness, safety, adherence, and potential drug interactions. ? Manage prescription transfers, renewals, refills, and medication-related inquiries. ? Provide OTC medication, vitamin, supplement, and health-product recommendations. ? Support and oversee blister/compliance packaging and medication synchronization services. ? Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. ? Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, recalls, and stock maintenance. ? Provide direction and support to pharmacy assistants and other team members. ? Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, applicable legislation, privacy requirements, and professional standards. ? Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and efficient pharmacy environment. ? Build lasting relationships with patients and provide personalized healthcare to our community. Qualifications ? Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. ? Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. ? Patient-focused and compassionate approach to healthcare. ? Community pharmacy experience is an asset. ? Experience with Kroll or similar pharmacy software is an asset. ? Experience with vaccinations, minor ailments prescribing, medication reviews, and compliance packaging is an asset. What We Offer ?
