Pathologists' assistant

A banquet facility in Barrie, Ontario is looking to hire a passionate Chef?s Assistant to join their team. Job Description * Teamwork is a MUST * Dependable, Reliable * Organized * Energetic * Willingness to learn and work alongside Chef. * Take charge and work independently ? learn menus and able to work on your own preparing and sending food out. * Stand for long periods and work long days * Assist with day to day back of house operations including the ? organization of the kitchen, daily inventory checks, stocking, and cleaning (dish pit) * Thursday, Friday and Saturdays you must be available ? with a flexible schedule. The shift will include early mornings along with long days and late nights depending on events and catering orders. * Bonus Plan in effect. Qualifications and Skills * Minimum of two years? experience in the kitchen * Passion for great food and culinary expertise * Hands-on food preparation skills * Strong Leadership and Team building skills * Previous experience and Food Handler Certification required.
