A Pastry Cook needed by Filosophi Wise Cuisine Full/Part-time, year-round, shift work, including weekends in Saskatoon, SK Starting wage: $18 ? $25 per hour depending on experience and skills. You must be honest, reliable, have a positive attitude and be passionate about pastry cooking. We require a minimum 2 year of direct experience as a cook preparing meals in a sit-down restaurant. A culinary education is preferred but not required. Successful candidates must have experience with the below duties are responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities - Prepare designated pastry items according to established recipes - Review production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake and to assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities - Mixes cake batter, sheets pastry dough using appropriate equipment and places in pans; proofs dough and bakes in oven. - Portion according to specifications all dessert items - Prepare all confectionery work per recipes - Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment - May be required to prepare baked goods for special diets - Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Apply with resume at Filosophi Wise Cuisine, 414 Cumberland Ave N, Saskatoon, SK.
