Paralegal

Required experience: at least 2 years civil litigation experience/ability to handle all phases of litigation from discovery through trial; experience in medical negligence, administrative law, tribunals, appeals, and judicial review; experience in assisting on legal proceedings and drafting pleadings and legal documents before the Federal Court, tribunals, provincial courts, appellate courts and Supreme Court of Canada Duties will include the following: Draft pleadings and legal documents; Assist on legal proceedings; Assemble documentary evidence in preparation for trial; Research records, court files, and other legal documents; Draft legal correspondence; Oversee maintenance of judicial court records; Interview clients, witnesses and other related parties; Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems; Arrange pre-trial confe...
