Job description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Manufacturing or processing industry. Tasks: Check and weigh materials and products. Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products. Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Perform preventive maintenance. Feed and unload production machinery and equipment. Check products and packaging for basic quality defects. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods.
