Outside sales representative

Summary: The Outside Sales Account Manager serves customers by introducing/selling products, meeting with customers, and pursuing expanded, new accounts/job projects for Graniteworx within the GTA, Burlington, and Niagara regionEstablishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, i.e. *new home builders*, *designers,* architects, etc.Generates and develops new customer accounts to increase revenue by cold-calling or visiting in person at the facilityKeeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS * *Previous experience with home builders*, home designers, architects, kitchen cabinet companies, and large condo projects *is a must.* * *Minimum 3 years* of direct work experience as outside sales * Countertops/stone experience is *highly* recommended * Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas * Customer service, meeting sales goals, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation/Diplomacy skills, Self Confidence, Product knowledge, presentational skills, client relationships, motivation/communication skills for sales * A valid driver?s license is a must Salary and Compensation: salary and *commission *structure.
