Optometrist

Full Job Description *Your patient base is already here.* Kniaziew Optometry is looking for a Part-Time Associate Optometrist to join our Corunna location. This isn't a position where you'll be expected to spend months building a schedule from scratch. One of our long-standing optometrists is beginning a well-deserved retirement after an incredible career serving the Corunna community. We are looking for the right person to continue caring for an established and loyal patient base. For over 50 years, Kniaziew Optometry has served communities throughout Southwestern Ontario. Our Corunna location combines the support and resources of an established practice with the relationships and atmosphere of a community-based clinic. What You Can Expect * Established patient base * Competitive compensation * Flexible part-time schedule * Modern diagnostic technology * Experienced support team * Established systems and infrastructure * Opportunity for long-term growth * A welcoming environment for both new and experienced ODs Why Corunna? Corunna is a welcoming community located along the St. Clair River, approximately 15 minutes from Sarnia and 20 minutes from Port Huron, Michigan. You get the lifestyle of a smaller community without feeling isolated from larger centres. The area offers waterfront parks and trails, boating, fishing, golf, recreation, excellent schools and welcoming neighbourhoods. For an optometrist, Corunna offers something even more valuable: *the chance to actually know your patients.* Many patients are looking for long-term relationships with healthcare providers in their own community. You'll have the opportunity to care for individuals and families over many years while becoming an important part of the community yourself. Still Figuring Out What's Next? Maybe you recently graduated and haven't found the practice that feels right yet. Or maybe you accepted your first position, started working and discovered that it isn't quite what you expected. *That's exactly why we're posting this opportunity now.* Your first job doesn't have to be your forever job, and you don't need to have everything figured out immediately after graduation. If you're still exploring your options, we'd be happy to talk. At our Corunna practice, you can step into an established patient base instead of starting from zero. You'll have an experienced team around you, modern technology and the opportunity to develop genuine, long-term relationships with your patients. And if you're an experienced optometrist simply looking for a change, we'd like to hear from you too. About Kniaziew Optometry Kniaziew Optometry has been proudly serving Southwestern Ontario for more than 50 years. We believe strongly in community-based eye care and in giving our doctors the clinical support and technology they need while allowing them to develop genuine relationships with their patients.
