One-on-One Student Support

Position Overview We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Education Assistant to provide one-on-one educational and personal support to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The successful candidate will work closely with students to support their academic, social, emotional, and organizational needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and youth and is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop skills, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. Assist students with classroom activities, assignments, homework, and learning tasks. Adapt activities and instructional materials to meet individual student needs. Reinforce concepts and skills taught by teachers and educational professionals. Support students with organization, time management, study skills, and task completion. Encourage positive behavior, independence, confidence, and self-advocacy. Help students develop social and communication skills when appropriate. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers, parents/guardians, and other team members as required. Assist with transitions between activities and provide additional support when students are experiencing challenges. Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Follow individualized learning plans, school policies, and established support strategies. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when working with students and families.
