Job description
*Job Overview* *Stony Valley Contracting LP* is seeking an experienced, highly organized *Office Administrator* to join our team. This position is best suited to an established administrative professional who is comfortable working in a busy, changing environment and has the experience and judgment to step into different areas of office operations as required. This is *not an entry-level administrative position*. We are looking for someone with a strong administrative background, current office technology skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to support multiple departments. Qualifications The successful candidate must have: * A minimum of *3 years of recent, relevant office administration experience* * A recognized *Office Administration, Business Administration or comparable post-secondary certificate/diploma*, completed within the past *6 years* * Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand instructions, communicate professionally, and prepare accurate business correspondence * Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly *Outlook, Word and Excel* * Excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills * Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy * The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team * The ability to manage confidential and sensitive business and employee information appropriately * The ability to adapt quickly as priorities, workloads and departmental requirements change * Legal authorization to work in Canada *Duties* * This is a diverse administrative position. Responsibilities will vary depending on operational requirements and may include: * General office administration and day-to-day administrative support * Preparing correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other business documents * Data entry and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records * Employee documentation and personnel file administration * Payroll and time-entry support * Accounts payable and accounts receivable administrative support * Processing, reviewing and organizing invoices and supporting documentation * Assisting with onboarding and employee documentation * Maintaining filing and document-management systems * Answering and directing telephone and email inquiries * Coordinating information between departments * Supporting managers and other administrative personnel as required * Providing temporary or ongoing assistance to different office departments based on workload and operational needs * Other administrative duties as assigned Pay: $25.00-$32.41 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 ? 50.0 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Work Location: In person
