Job description
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Interview clients, prepare case histories and assess problems. Interview patients . Supervise other counsellors, social service staff and assistants. Prepare a treatment plan for each patient. Provide therapy. Implement treatment plans. Analyze the patient during the treatments. Develop and implement counselling and intervention programs to assist clients in determining goals and means of attaining them. Counsel clients, provide therapy and mediation services, and facilitate group sessions. Maintain accurate records. Participate in fundraising activities. Plan intervention programs. Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs. Supervision: 5-10 people. Experience with special needs children: Children with a physical disability. Area of specialization: Movement therapy. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail.
