*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical and dental office procedures, and the ability to provide exceptional front desk support. As a Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth administrative operations and delivering a welcoming experience. Your role is vital in maintaining efficient office workflows and supporting healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care. *Responsibilities* * Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures in a courteous, professional manner. * Manage multi-line phone systems to handle appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and general office communication efficiently. * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Jane app and HCAI, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. * Verify insurance information, process billing, and handle payment transactions accurately. * Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic operations. * Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence related to medical and dental practices. * Support the clinical team by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring all office supplies are stocked and organized. *Qualifications* * Prior experience working as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred. * Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Jane app is essential. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient information and documentation. * Demonstrated experience with office management tasks including multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling, and billing processes. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and administrative paperwork. * Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. * Previous experience in dental office environments or familiarity with dental practice workflows is advantageous but not mandatory.
