Humber Valley Imaging is currently recruiting a *highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist* to join our clinics in Toronto, Ontario. *Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.* Humber Valley Imaging is committed to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care. We strive to provide our patients with excellent service while supporting referring physicians and healthcare providers in delivering timely and effective care. *Duties and responsibilities* * Greet patients in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner. * Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referring physicians. * Complete patient intake, including organizing and processing requisitions and patient screening forms. * Accurately enter patient and procedure information into RIS software. * Register and check in patients. * Schedule and book patient appointments. * Manage a multi-line telephone system and respond professionally to inquiries. * Retrieve and maintain patient records. * Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify information and obtain missing information when necessary. * Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in a busy clinical environment. * Perform other duties as required by the Site Supervisor or management. *Qualifications* * Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude. * Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility and openness to the changing needs of the business. * Flexible availability and willingness to work at other clinic locations within the geographical area are considered assets. * Ability to maintain a professional demeanour and work effectively under pressure. * Understanding of basic office technologies, including computers, printers, fax machines, and multi-line telephone systems. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer or office equipment issues. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, email, and internet applications. * Previous experience in *medical administration and/or diagnostic imaging* is considered an asset. * A *diploma or degree in Medical Office Administration* is considered an asset. * Knowledge of *Velox Imaging* is considered an asset. * A good employment record and strong employment references are required.
