Job description

*Job Summary* Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Radiation Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. In this energetic and fast-paced environment, you will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and collaborate closely with medical professionals to provide precise diagnostic images. Your expertise in medical terminology and technical skills will help facilitate smooth workflows and contribute to positive patient outcomes. *Duties* * Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam * Operate various diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, or MRI units with precision and adherence to safety protocols * Follow established procedures to produce clear, accurate images for diagnostic interpretation * Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with privacy regulations * Assist physicians in evaluating images and making recommendations for further testing or treatment plans * Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use at all times * Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure *Experience* * Proven experience working as a Medical Radiation Technologist or in a similar diagnostic imaging role * Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiology and patient care * Familiarity with operating a variety of imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI or ultrasound is preferred * Ability to interpret basic imaging results and communicate effectively with healthcare teams * Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care in a busy clinical setting * Certification or licensure from recognized regulatory bodies governing radiologic technology is required * Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise and dedication make a real difference in patients? lives.
