Job description
*Job Summary* Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you'll play a vital role in constructing high-quality mechanical components and assemblies. Be part of a fast-paced environment that values hands-on craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement. *Responsibilities* * Repair or replace defective machinery parts; Perform routine maintenance work on machinery * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes. * Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble mechanical parts accurately. * Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required to complete assemblies. * Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor. * Measure components with calipers and other precision instruments to ensure proper fit and function. * Adjusting machinery and equipment; Fabricating machine parts; Start-up and testing; Shutdown operations; Troubleshooting * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools. * Conveyors; Pumps and compressors; Hoists and other lifting devices; Grinders; Welding equipment; Heat exchangers; Automated and robotics systems; Power tools; Hydraulic systems; Press brakes and metalworking equipment . * Welding Techniques such as Oxy-acetylene welding * Follow manufacturing procedures and schematics diligently to maintain quality standards. * Able to lift up to 30lbs * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. *Qualifications* * Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training . * Preferred: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification; Welder Trade Certification; Forklift Operator Certification . * Minimum 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments, preferably with warehouse experience. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints confidently. * Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures. * Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply them during assembly. * Knowledge of calipers and other measurement tools for quality control purposes. * Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Occasional travel to USA and Mexico required Join us in creating exceptional products through precision craftsmanship!
