Material Handler

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is seeking 3 self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals to provide support as a Material Handler within the Supply Chain and Distribution Branch. We are hiring for two types of schedules a weekly fixed position working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (a total of 24 hours guaranteed with the potential for additional hours to meet operational requirements) AND/OR a variable flex position working 8 32 hours per week, including Sundays (This position requires availability for up to 32 hours weekly but guarantees a minimum of 8 hours on a continuous basis. Employees in this position are also required to work two out of every three Sundays as part of a three-week schedule rotation.) These positions are required to work on-site, reporting to the Manager Outbound Logistics and supervised by the Outbound Logistics Supervisor or designate. As a Material Handler, you are responsible for safely using the Walkie Rider. This involves picking cases and loading liquor products into semi-trucks and trailers to fulfil orders for liquor stores while maintaining quality assurance. Additionally, you are required to operate powered mobile equipment, count warehouse inventory, maintain warehouse security, and complete general housekeeping tasks.
