Manufacturing technician

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Metal processing company. Tasks: Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs. Inspect processes. Oversee production . Design plant layouts and production facilities. Collect and analyze data and samples. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings.
