Line Cook *East Side Mario?s* is looking for a motivated and reliable *Line Cook* to join our kitchen team! Position Overview As a Line Cook, you?ll play an important role in delivering the quality, consistency, and great taste our guests expect. You?ll work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team, preparing food according to recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and following all food-safety standards. Responsibilities * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion standards * Set up and stock kitchen stations before and during service * Maintain proper food temperatures and follow safe food-handling procedures * Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently * Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized * Follow proper sanitation and food-safety practices * Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members and front-of-house staff * Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout the shift * Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as required Qualifications * Previous kitchen or line-cook experience is an asset * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures * Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies when required * Food Handler certification is an asset What We?re Looking For We?re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team.
